April Bowman, M.S.
Founder & Chief Change Strategist

April Bowman is a change strategist, professional speaker, leadership coach, and organizational development practitioner with more than 20 years of experience developing people and helping organizations navigate growth and change.
She earned a Master of Science in Learning and Organizational Change from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Washington. April is also a licensed Christian Minister through the Potter's House School of Ministry.
Throughout her career, April has designed learning experiences, coached leaders, developed leadership programs, supported students, facilitated change, built community-centered initiatives, and led organizations across education, nonprofit, corporate, community, and faith-based environments.
April is also the founder and executive leader of a nonprofit organization she has led for more than a decade. That experience gives her a perspective that reaches beyond theory. She understands what it means to cast vision, develop people, build programs, navigate uncertainty, engage stakeholders, manage growth, and lead change from inside an organization.
In 2019, the Dallas Business Journal named April to its 40 Under 40 honoree list, recognizing her leadership and impact in the Dallas-Fort Worth community.
Through Bowman Global, she brings together academic grounding, practical strategy, cultural awareness, and a deeply human approach to transformation.
Her work helps people move from inspiration to action and organizations move from transition to transformation.
April is originally from Chicago. She lived in Seattle for thirteen years and currently resides in Dallas TX.
